I may just get a 1 in one of my Hl subjects but in the other two am sure to get more than 12.I will also manage more than 16 in my 3 Sl subjects and have done well in his EE.Do u think I will be awarded the Diploma.

Hey SaraLee: it really depends on the exact mark because there’s so much weighting on the exam – if you’re pretty close to a 5 and your IAs are high 5s / 6s, then there’s a chance that you may end up with a final mark of 5

However, it’s really hard to predict

If i was to get a 5/6 in an external assessment, but a 4 in an exam, would my overall grade for that subject go up?

Hey Luis, I think it seems a good idea as long as you can quickly illustrate the different kinds of criticisms. Did you mean criticism, not critic? If you find that there’s a lot of material as you start writing it, you can focus your topic to just a certain kind of criticism, limit it to a smaller number of years, or choose a certain category of lyrics.

R: it seems like you would be safe since it has to be equal or above 12 points in total. However, if you get >= 28 points overall, you just need >= 11 HL points. Good luck!

I have read the above conditions and have a question…If I am taking 3 HL courses, the total points from them must be 12 points or greater. However, say i get a score of 3 on one HL exam, can I still be eligible the diploma is I get 9 or more points on the other 2 HL exams combined? Thank you, and any clarification is greatly appreciated.
