In case you didn’t believe my IB results from yesterday, I have now attached a screenshot of the IB results screen which you can get by logging into the IB results service at results.ibo.org. You just need the personal code and PIN that your IB coordinator gave you.

One thing that I found quite odd is that no one I know so far as obtained a 7 in Chemistry HL, English HL or History of the Americas HL; quite a few of us were predicted 7s for those classes. So far, predicted 7s have become 6s or 5s. Perhaps there was some kind of failure with our Internal Assessments, but I don’t think it could’ve been that bad… Even the English major in our class didn’t get a 7, which is extremely odd.
Overall IB points weren’t as high as they were last year, with Sarah getting 42 points (I got only 40, and Sumaira got 39). -sigh- Darn new curriculums. Luckily none of the universities here have conditional offers based on IB marks; they’re just based on your regular school marks.
Do you have any IB results do you want to share? Did you get your university offer? Are you planning on resitting your exams?
In case you were wondering, here are the passing conditions for the Diploma.

you’re so good xD. Now my 31 seems nothing
wow!!!!!!ur grades are amazing!!! really hope i get the same for my examz this November!!!
congz….
Wow, your results are fantastic.
I’m wondering, and please don’t be humble, if you were one of the top students in your class? I’m an IB senior at the moment, but last year’s graduating class’ results were awful, compared to this…less than half of them got the diploma, and most who got it had 25 or so points. Are you an amazingly smart exception, or is my school somehow ridiculously behind?
Thanks
I was indeed the top IB diploma candidate at my school with 40 points. I know two of my other diploma friends at my school got 39 and 34 points, and I don’t know what the other candidates got. In the other IB school in my city, there were students who got 39 and 42 points.
My school has been doing the IB for a couple of decades now, and the vast majority of the diploma candidates have graduated with the diploma in recent years (100% in the last 5 years excluding my year). It just depends on how mature the IB program is at your school, and how experienced the coordinator and teachers are. In addition, it also depends if your program is extremely selective–at my school, you had to meet certain requirements to be in the IB in the first place, and you were “encouraged” to be of a certain academic caliber to continue onto the full Diploma. If you are in a large IB class, then the results aren’t too strange.
Good luck on your journey!
wow your results are amazing
